*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*
Yesterday I received an alert from my AVG antivirus (free version)
software.
It claimed that it had detected itself as being used for 'network
use', and that if I didn't buy the network version from them, I
would be exposing myself to 'possible legal liability'.
I shot off an angry email to their tech support, saying, 'This is
preposterous... I downloaded the free version for my own personal
use on my own personal laptop. I don't even know how to use this
software for network use! I just use it to scan the files in my
laptop! Now reply to me ASAP or I will be forced to uninstall
it!!!'
Still waiting for the reply.
